In Loving Memory

Hi Folks, I've been a bit quiet for a couple of weeks due to being busy at work and family circumstances.  Sadly, Darren's grandfather passed away on Saturday so its been a strange couple of days. T.D. had recently turned 83, but had been poorly for some time.  He was a goldmine of information and loved to tell old stories, recite poems and sing old rhymes.  He will be sorely missed by all of us.
I made the card above for Darren's grandma Phyllis, to let her know we're thinking of her.

Recipe: Thinking of You - Stamps: Upsy Daisy & Sincere Salutations (Stampin Up!)
Cardstock: Not Quite Navy, Very Vanilla (SU!)
Ink: Not Quite Navy (SU!)
Other: Bella Bleu DSP, Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch, Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon (SU!)

  2. Sorry to hear of your Loss Linzi, I too lost me Nanny a few weeks back, she too had just reached her 84th birthday, its still as heart wrenching at that age as it is if they pass away at a younger age... hugs to you and yours..... a beautiful card too very much appreciated by your grandma I am sure....
