well imagine my surprise when i popped on here to update my blog, only to find that my last post had completely disappeared! so now i guess it'll be one long post as I've been rather busy crafting recently - my rather pink looking fingers will confirm that (melon mambo does NOT come off skin easily!). This month marks my first month designing for the 'In Love With Stamping' design team. So last weekend I was busily deigning, making, photographing and uploading 6 designs for 4 challenges set by the lovely Karin. Here are my entries for the colour combination challenge, which was so saffron, certainly celery, basic grey & whisper white:
The next challenge I attempted was the technique challenge, we had to use a piece of cling film in conjunction with our ink pads to create a card. As I started playing, I was reminded of a cloudy sky, and the following two scenes sprung to mind, both using my favourite fold at the moment - a centre stair step, which is great for producing layered scenes. I promised a diagram the other week, and will hopefully get around to uploading it later in the week!

colour challenge 2 - Stamp sets: occasional greetings, tiny tags

technique challenge 2 - Stamp sets: circle circus, good neighbours

Well, I'll stop rabbiting on for now - I'll be back later in the week with the remaining 2 cards from the challenges, and a sneak peek of my upcoming 'greenhouse garden' class.
have a great start to the week!
